Vacancies

The band is currently looking in particular for BBb bass players and cornet players including a soprano cornet player. We always welcome, however, any brass band instrument players to come along and join us. Those who are just starting to learn may like to consider joining our training band.

Our band otherwise enjoys a near full complement, missing only a few players and we recognise that we are very lucky compared to many bands! However, we would love to fill up those spare spaces and to continue to improve the band’s sound.

If you can fill any of these vacancies and would like to join a friendly, sociable, entertaining band, then please get in touch. Not owning an instrument is no excuse either, as we have spare instruments for you to borrow. Graeme Groom, the Band Sergeant, will be happy to answer any queries you may have and can be contacted on 07900 335181. Rehearsals are on Monday nights at 7.30 pm at Banbury School and we look forward to seeing you.
